Once upon a time, there was beautiful princess with stunningly dark eyes named Felicita who lived in a fortress and felt protected from all the evil in the world…
One day though, she met a young man traveling from far abroad, spending a few days in the kingdom before continuing his lengthy travel. Foreigners were always welcome in the still-prosperous kingdom by the sea, and it was a normal act of conviviality that the princess greeted the young man during the usual evening dinner in the castle. The young man looked in her eyes and said: “I see helplessness. I see misery and everyday pain.” The princess did not seek to understand and ordered her servants to expel the young man, a seemingly simple act which yet defined their common fate for the years to come…

Times have changed… but the topics remain the same, even today. Our sociological structure (be it family, friends or the job environment) define our approach to helplessness. Why do we feel more helpless in certain situations than in others?
Both in dating and relationships, it is very important that you remain true to yourself, not get overwhelmed by your own emotions, and not run after someone you don’t really know or is emotionally unavailable. A lot of “nots” here, but where are the “yesses”? And very importantly, how can you be ultimately true to yourself?
For each of us, making the shift from being the helpless prince or princess to becoming the sovereign kings/queens of our lives may take some time, but it is worth it. Only you are able to pull yourself out of misery.
This workshop will equip you with innovative and creative tools that help you to:
- recognize when a dating scheme starts to become unhealthy and hopeless
- identify patterns of emotional unavailability and know which persons to avoid or to pursue
- know what to do when you become overwhelmed by your emotions
- seize the right moment when and how to take back your lost power
We are all sometimes the helpless prince or princess, but we all can become the sovereign kings and queens one day, and remain there.
When will be your coronation?
“End of Emotions !?” is a series of six innovative workshops with the multidisciplinary Amour Constitutionnel approach : a place of engagement somewhere between short films, music, literature, exercises and academia. Participants can participate in one, several or all six workshops. All workshops will be held in central Paris, in French, for a length of approximately 1 hour 15 minutes without interruption.
